# Quickstart Guide

Getting started with the system

This guide is intended for new agents and brokerage administrators. It provides a quick overview of the The Mortgage Map system, and highlights a few key workflows.

The Mortgage Map consists of two integrated applications:

* A robust [**CRM**](/quickstart-guide/the-mortgage-map-crm/basic-crm-functionality.md) system for mortgage originators to track their mortgages, clients, and leads throughout the sales cycle and to identify and nurture future sales opportunities
* An intuitive [**borrower portal**](/quickstart-guide/borrower-portal/borrower-portal-overview.md) for your borrowers to view their journey through their mortgage process and for streamlining borrower document collection
